Nantz Road Small Area Plan
Overview
The Town of Cornelius currently utilizes a comprehensive Land Development Code which includes Zoning, Subdivision, and Watershed Ordinances. The Town is looking to create a development plan that will provide an opportunity to diversify its tax base with additional commercial opportunities while creating an area oriented toward Lake Norman. While being a lake community, the citizens have limited opportunity to access the lake and the Town wishes to promote Lake Norman as an amenity for all citizens locally and regionally.

What's New
After holding several design Charrettes with area property owners and other interested citizens, a plan begins to take shape. View the draft master plan which will be presented at a joint meeting with the Planning Board and Town Board on July 7th at 6:00 PM (Room 204). Components of the proposed plan include:
